What are 3D PVC Panels?
These are wall panels made of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) and have a 3D texture on their surface.
This is a new trend in wall panels. They can be affixed to the interior walls by glueing. These are light, affordable and can be painted or varnished for enhancing the overall charm.
Where can they be used?
These panels can be used for covering interior walls, ceilings of rooms, offices, basements and especially in bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens.
Can they be used over existing tiles or plywood?
Yes, PVC panels can be installed over tiles, plywood and drywall.
Can they be used for sound-proofing?
These PVC panels are made with two sheets of PVC which a few mm apart and have air between them. This structure gives them basic soundproofing qualities. However, these cannot be used as a substitute for proper soundproofing materials. These panels can be easily used in the music room to ensure the sound doesn’t bounce around if you’re on a tight budget.
